Hi, Faace’s founder Jasmine here!

I want to thank you for helping us get to where we are today, we wouldn’t be anything without your support.

I spent 16 years working with other beauty brands, before I decided to create something meaningful myself. I’d just become a parent and when some nights there was barely time to brush my teeth, let alone do a lengthy skincare routine, I realised that what was out there wasn’t really speaking to me as a time-poor, tired mum. That was the lightbulb moment for Faace.

Now we’re on a mission to simplify skincare routines. Our range is for every faace – from period to tired, sweaty to menopausal. We understand that there are times when it’s not always realistic to do a full skincare routine, so we’ve created a range of easy-to-use and ethical products that can just be popped on with minimum fuss.

In the early stages of our product research, sheet masks came up as being big business, but with estimates that more than one million sheet masks are thrown away each day(!!), we wanted to encourage more beauty lovers to switch to multi-use masks instead.

We overtly branded our ‘no-sheet sheet masks’ Period, Tired, Sweaty, Menopause as there’s something empowering about being out there saying yeah so what, I’m sweaty, or who cares, I am on my period. As well as opening up conversations to destigmatise topics that are still somewhat taboo, we’re committed to giving back; with every sale of our hero masks, we support Hey Girls in its period poverty mission and donate to The Menopause Charity.

I feel incredibly proud about how far Faace has come – with the support of our community, we have built the foundations of a much-loved brand and you can find us in 23 countries and in 59 retailers worldwide. But there’s so much more we want to do. So many more important conversations we want to tackle, more skincare problems we want to solve, more sheet masks we want to save from landfill, and more great causes we want to support. And for that we need to open our doors and invite you on the journey with us.

So here we are today. We always knew we wanted our community to be a bigger part of our future and now’s the time. We’re so excited to be giving you the chance to join us on the next leg of our journey by investing in Faace through Seedrs. You can own a part of Faace for as little as £13.50.

Thank you for believing in us and trusting us with your faace this far. We hope you’ll join us for the next chapter. Keep reading to understand more about crowdfunding and how to get involved.

With love, Jasmine and the Faace team x

Investor perks

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding helps level the investing playing field and allows people to invest in brands that they believe in - with what they can afford - in exchange for shares in that business (rather than just the big banks and institutional investors having all the fun).

Crowdfunding doesn’t just help address historic investing inequity; it also helps even the odds for female founders who are 63% less likely than men to get funding for their ventures (last year, female entrepreneurs secured only 1% of all venture capital investment). Even though women-led businesses in the UK generate more gross sales, deliver double the return on investment, and fail less often than male-led businesses.

Crowdfunding has already been successful for other female-led businesses that you may know and love, like DAME femcare, Upcircle beauty, and KANKAN personal care products.

Why invest in Faace?

Skincare is booming. The global skincare products market is projected to reach 183 billion dollars in two years. And we’re also part of new and rising categories that are all big business:

. Vegan beauty 21.4B dollars by 2027

. Period and menopause markets are a 20B industry

Faace has been disrupting the beauty market since 2020 with first-of-a-kind products that provide simple and effective solutions to skin that's been disrupted by life. We've sold over 40,000 products worldwide, and 2023 is set to be our most exciting year to date.

Our products are all made in the UK, vegan, cruelty-free, ethically sourced, and our tubes are currently made from 60-70% recycled materials and are also fully recyclable.

This crowdfunding campaign is a way for you to become a partner, fuel our progress, influence how we grow as a brand, and share in our future.

2. Fill out your details to register as an “authorised” investor (you’ll need to be 18+)

3. You'll need to verify your identity to invest and participate in the discussion forum (have your photo ID document on-hand)

How much do I have to invest?

You can invest as little as £13.46 or as much as you feel comfortable with.

What do I get if I invest?

You’ll become a shareholder in Faace - a part-owner of the company. Sounds pretty good, right? For investments £50 and up, in addition to the equity you will receive, we are also offering a selection of exclusive rewards.

How will the money be used?

Your investment will go towards supporting the launch of new products (we’ve got some corkers in the pipeline already!), expanding our distribution into new markets, deepening our relationship with key retailers, and getting our products in the hands of more people who will benefit from them with sampling campaigns and events. And the more we expand our footprint, the more it benefits our charity partners, helping to alleviate period poverty and support more women going through the menopause.
